Vietnam Visa Singapore - Applying for Vietnam Visa online in Singapore

Does a Singapore citizen need a visa to enter Vietnam?

I am Singapore citizen and carry Singapore passport valid to Nov.15/2015. Do I need a visa to enter Vietnam? (Marios, from Singapore)

Dear Marios,

Please be noted that as a Singapore passport holder, you don’t need to apply for Vietnam Visa for stay of maximum 30 days. In case you want to stay longer in Vietnam, you are highly recommended to apply for a Vietnam Visa in Singapore before your departure as it is currently very difficult to extend visa for those enjoying Vietnam visa exemption and visa extension will cost you much money. Except for a visa obtained at the Vietnam Embassy, you can apply for visa on arrival to get a visa stamped at Vietnam international airports.

For stay of 2 months, we would like to suggest you 3 month single entry visa by submitting a visa application form here: https://booking.vietnam-visa.com/step1.html.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.

Vietnam visa exemption

Hi, I hold a Malaysian passport and want to visit Hanoi for 10 days. I have been told that I have a visa exemption. Do I need to present any documents of any sort upon arrival at the Hanoi airport? How will I prove that I will be exiting the country within 30 days? May.

Dear May,

Be please noted that you don’t need to present any documents upon Vietnam airport but your original passport. 30 day visa will be stamped in your passport and you are supposed to leave Vietnam before visa expiry date.
