How many types of Vietnam visa?

There are two ways to classify Vietnam visa:

Firstly, in terms of traveling purposes, Vietnam visa is classified into three categories:

  1. Tourist visa: applied for 1 month visa;
  2. Business visa: applied for 3-month visa;
  3. Visa for other purposes: applied for 3-month visa.

Secondly, in terms of length of stay in Vietnam and number of entries to Vietnam, Vietnam visa is classified into 4 types:

  1. 1-month single entry visa (the visa which is valid in 1 month and allows the visa applicant to have one stay in Vietnam during that 1 month);
  2. 1-month multiple entry visa (the visa which is valid in 1 month and allows the visa applicants to have as many stays in Vietnam as they want during that 1 month)
  3. 3-month single entry visa (the visa which is valid in 3 months and allows the visa applicant to have one stay in Vietnam during that 3 months);
  4. 3-month multiple entry visa (the visa which is valid in 3 months and allows the visa applicants to have as many stays in Vietnam as they want during that 3 months)
